We are continuing with the series this month with Edition 2 which will feature the 2016 Ernst & Young’s Master Entrepreneur of the Year, Dominic Hadeed of Blue Waters Products Limited.

 

As many of you will know, Dominic is quite famous in the circles of regional entrepreneurship and currently leads or has investments in a diverse group of successful enterprises in the Caribbean including Blue Waters Products Limited, Blue Waters St. Lucia Limited, Fabric Land Limited and Domhad Investments Limited, to name a few.

 

He also holds membership in professional bodies such as the Young Presidents Organization ( 22,000+ members in over 125 countries) and remains one of the few members from Trinidad and Tobago of this global community of CEO’s under the age of 45. As the 2016 T&T Ernst and Young Master Entrepreneur, Dominic represented Trinidad and Tobago at ‘The World Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ gala event which was created by EY to recognize the accomplishments of entrepreneurs around the globe.

 

We have chosen as the theme for our 2nd Edition, ‘Innovating Through a Recession‘ – Should entrepreneurs be focusing on cost reduction and optimising the current business to make it through a recession or should they take the opportunity to innovate past the competition, or is it a bit of both…?
