Before you go to the application form here are things you need to note and get ready before,
- Legal Requirements: Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration.
- Proof of Address: If your address Is not stated on your Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration please provide your Utility Bill, Lease Agreement or Property Ownership documents.
- Directors: List of Directors with a copy of their photo identification
Note: Please ensure that the document is scanned and ready for attachment before your application. - Compliancy: All applicants (companies) should be Tax compliant.
Evidence may be requested to show that your records are up to date.
Please ensure your documents are ready to scan and email if requested. - Individual Bronze Members: Individual Bronze members are either retired professionals or current consultants. You will not be eligible for this tier of membership if you are an owner or partner of a company.
Applicants submitting for Individual Bronze membership need only attach your professional CV. No company documents are required. Please ensure that this is ready to attach to your online application. - For T & T Nationals – A Proposer and a Seconder: As part of the application process the T&T Chamber requires you to state a proposer and a seconder who can vouch for you or your company. Both the proposer and seconder must be T&T Chamber members in good standing and they must be from separate and different organisations. You must complete the section for proposer and seconder to complete your application. Please ensure they each sign in their respective areas before submitting.
For Non T & T Nationals (CARICOM & Other) – 1 Business Reference: As part of the application process the T&T Chamber requires you to state 1 reference who can vouch for you or your company. This must be either a company with whom you transact business, another chamber of commerce or business association of which you are a member. You must list the name of your reference to complete your application. Your Reference will receive an email shortly after you submit your form, requesting them to confirm you. Please inform your reference that you are listing them to endorse you/your company and to expect an email. - Application Fees: Once your Application is accepted you will then receive an email to submit your application fee. Online payments can be made or call the Membership Unit at 1-868-637-6966 extension 1230 for ACH Wire Info.
- Approval Timing: Completed applications that meet all requirements are presented to the Executive Board of Directors for approval on the 1st Wednesday of every month.
- Annual Subscription Fee: Once the Board has approved your application your subscription fee must be paid for the year within one week to finalise your membership.
- Company Detailed Information: In order to serve our members effectively the Membership Unit will contact the head of the company or the assigned liaison to obtain more details about your organization. This information is added to our database and includes details like key interests, key contacts and their designations. The latter is used to facilitate targeted messages and invitations. More information may be requested from time to time to help us enrich your membership experience.
- Courtesy Call: A courtesy call with our CEO will also be done to welcome you and help you better understand the opportunities you would like to explore and how we can help support your objectives.
