Our 4th Edition of the Masters of Industry Lunch N Learn series is just around the corner and we are overjoyed that we will be joined by one of the most accomplished female executives in the region, Ms. Giselle Thompson of bpTT fame.
Giselle is the Vice President for Corporate Operations for BP Trinidad and Tobago. In this role she holds accountability for the management of the company’s external facing strategy and reputation. This includes the management of the company’s internal and external communications and overseeing all interactions between bpTT and external stakeholders including the government, business partners and the community.
As part of her extensive portfolio, she is also accountable for compliance and ethics, facilities and management services and risk integration.
Giselle joined bpTT in 2005 and prior to this she spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry working with GlaxoSmithKline where she held senior marketing positions in their Caribbean and Central American operations.
Giselle holds an honours degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and is the recipient of the UWI’s distinguished alumni award. She is also currently completing her MBA at the University of Cumbria.
In addition to her duties at BPTT, Giselle is a member of the board of, MIPED, AmCham, the Maple Leaf International School and is an Executive Committee member of the International Women’s Forum TT Chapter.
