Leaders Build 2017 in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity

Constructing Houses… Creating Homes On Sunday March 19, 2017, the T&T Chamber partnered with the T&T Chapter of Habitat for Humanity in an initiative titled “Leaders Build 2017”. Representatives of the T&T Chamber Board of Directors, Management, staff and its Membership used the opportunity to lend helpful hands to assist a deserving family in the completion of their home. It was a fun-filled day, at the end of which a beautiful garden was planted and a home was spruced up and painted. “A home is heart, soul and love”, said the home-owner as he expressed gratitude for the assistance. Special thanks go out to Habitat for Humanity for the experience of the joy of service to the community. We encourage corporate Trinidad and Tobago and members of the public in general to become more involved in volunteerism. It’s a great way to give back, while building a better nation – even if it takes one home at a time!
