The Business Hall of Fame was established in 2005 with the posthumous induction of T&T Chamber founding member Joseph Leon Agostini. The Business Hall of Fame was initially held in the T&T Chamberā€™s boardroom. Over time, the award ceremony surpassed its modest beginnings and evolved into one of the T&T Chamberā€™s signature events. Annually a maximum of two business leaders are selected from the nominees to be inducted into the T&T Chamberā€™s Business Hall of Fame; one of these individuals may be inducted posthumously

Criteria:

  • Must be a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago
  • Made significant impact and exemplary leadership throughout oneā€™s career, serving as roleĀ model for emerging business leaders. Consideration will be given to such accomplishments as starting and building a business or leading an established business to significantly greater achievements
  • Contributed to improve community, environment, and corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Demonstrated commitment to building and improving national development
  • Gained industry recognition for pioneering or leading initiatives
