The Paediatric Society of Trinidad and Tobago (PSTT) notes with great enthusiasm the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Health led by the Honorable Minister of Health, Mr. Terrance Deyalsingh, to address the challenge of obesity and associated NCD burden in Trinidad and Tobago.

While the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce understands the need for the implementation of property tax, it notes with concern the financial impact that it may have on citizens at this time.

The Joint Chambers maintain the view that crime, and in particular violent crimes, continues to spiral out of control and is the single biggest deterrent to investment in, and to doing business in Trinidad and Tobago and addressing this issue must be the number one priority of the Government.

Nominations are invited from the public for the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s “Champions of Business Awards, 2023”, following the official launch on May 24 held at the Chamber’s Conference Centre.
