Theme: “CONNECTIONS AND JOURNEYS”

The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce(T&T Chamber) will host the 2019 Champions of Business Awards on November 15th, 2019 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA). This is the T&T Chamber’s final Signature Event each year. It is attended loyally by business executives, C-Suite executives and other A-listers year-after-year.

It is the ideal event to network and connect with leaders, influencers and rising business stars.

The event recognises excellence in business, acknowledges the nation-building contributions of inspiring business leaders, celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship and hails the achievements of local companies that have succeeded in expanding their operations overseas. With the high influx of technology-driven start-ups in the market, the T&T Chamber will again acknowledge the importance of innovative digital technology in business.

Here’s a look at the award categories and how you can nominate someone or a company for one of the awards.

THE BUSINESS HALL OF FAME INDUCTION, sponsored by Guardian Life of The Caribbean Limited (PLATINUM SPONSOR)

Each year, two outstanding individuals are inducted into the T&T Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame, one of the these may be posthumously conferred.

These persons exemplify business excellence – both in commercial prowess and in national responsibility.

We will chronicle their story, showing the paths they took to reach the heights of success they have achieved, both professionally and personally. This inspirational journey is always an emotional one due to the number of  people, companies and organisations that these Hall of Famers have touched and connected with meaningfully with over the years.

The Business Hall of Fame inductees for 2019 will be announced prior to the Champions of Business Awards event.
